Thierry Edouard Barthole et Philippe Attié prodigieux artistes Haïtien ont participé aux 13ème Salon annuel de L’ARC ( Art Renewal Centre) une des plus prestigieuse compétitions d’art à travers le monde, entièrement dédiée au réalisme. Pourvu d’une approche non rigide à l’hyperréealisme, ils étaient parmis les 3750 candidats venant de 69 pays. Leur excellence a été largement reconnue et récompensée.

Ces deux maîtres de l’art figuratif forment un tandem représentatif d’un segment de l’art Haïtien à l’international. Talentueux, ils sont bien connus pour leur excellence dans le domaine. Ils sont pourvus d’une maîtrise technique égalant la perfection et réveillant les émotions. Leur experitise leur accorde une retranscription quasi parfaite de la profondeur des âmes de leur sujet, ce qui donne à leur travail une force inouie dans son expression et sa perception.

Thierry Barthole artiste accompli et méticuleux du détail nous entraîne constamment dans les dédales de la précision technique. Ces sujets sont chargés de pouvoirs, d’énigmes, d’émotions, provenant surtout de leur histoire et de leur culture identitaire. Adepte du monochrome Thierry nous fait converser avec ces personnages quasi interactif tant ils sont proches du réel.

Phillipe Attié lui, de par sa combinaison du réalisme et de l’abstrait, cherche à capturer l’essence même de l’âme humaine qu’il nous délivre en toute beauté chargée de sensualité et de sagesse. Dès son plus jeune âge, Philippe est un passionné de peinture, épris par la proximité qu’elle procure. Disciple assidu de deux grand maîtres de l’art Haitien - Ralph Allen et Richard Barbot - il enrichit sa vision, sa technique ainsi que sa connaissance artistique jusqu’à devenir lui même ce grand maître de l’art qu’il est aujourd’hui.

Ensemble ils représentent une grande fierté pour l’art haitien et pour la communauté Haïtienne en général.

Thierry Edouard Barthole avec son oeuvre titré “Part of the Continuum” a reçu une belle mention honorable. Philippe Attie, avec ses 3 entrées se voit récompensé du “ Art Purchased Award” pour son oeuvre titré “Sound of Innocence” qui fera partie de l’exposition internationale intinérante, suivi de “Contemplation of Time” qui a été retenu parmis les finalistes et enfin “The Hermit” couronné de la mention Honorable.

Thierry Barthole and Philippe Attié, two prominent Haitian artists, took part in the 13th Annual International Arc Salon competiton (Art renewal centre) which is the largest and most prestigious art contest around the world, dedicated to realistic art. With their non-rigid hyperrealistic expression, they were amongst the 3,750 entries coming from 69 countries. Their excellence was largely recognized and rewarded.

These two distinctive figurative art masters, form a representative tandem of a segment of the Haitian art. Talented, they are well known for their excellence in the field. They are endowed with a technical mastery, equaling perfection, which awaken emotions. Their expertise gives them an almost perfect in depth transcript of their character’s soul. This gives their work an incredible strength in its expression and perception.

Thierry Barthole, an accomplished and meticulous artist, leads us constantly in the maze of technical precision. His characters possess power, enigma and emotion: mostly coming from their history and their cultural identity. Thierry, enthusiast user of monochromatic technique, makes us converse with these almost interactive characters so close to reality.

Phillipe Attié himself, through his combination of realism and abstraction, seeks to capture the very essence of the human soul which is delivered beautifully, loaded with sensuality and wisdom. From a very young age, Philippe is passionate about painting, enjoying the proximity it provides. Disciple of two great Haitian masters - Ralph Allen and Richard Barbot - he enriches his vision, his technique and artistic knowledge, until he himself became the great master of the art he is today.

Together they represent the Haitian art world and community's pride.

Thierry Edouard Barthole with his work titled “Part of the Continuum” received an Honorable mention for the piece and Philippe Attié with his three entries was granted an art purchased award for “Sound of innocence” which will be part of the international travelling show, followed by “Contemplation of time” among the finalist, and “The hermit” which was crowned with an honorable mention.
