THINGS CHANGE
Teachers said I could do well.
But I didn’t listen. Didn’t see the point when I could get a whole class laughing with one of my impressions.
Being able to do impressions what got me a long way with Debbie Smith, who we all thought was better looking than Agnetha from Abba!
Back in the day being able to do a good impression counted for something.
“It used to get the whole class giggling,” I say.
But the copper frowns and says, “There’s nothing funny about Jimmy Saville!”
