Early evening on Friday offers a rare opportunity to see Outsideleft’s Ancient Champion’s bring a whole band performance to the Oikos Cafe in Erdington in Birmingham.
The Night of Creativity, featuring musicians, poets, and multidisciplinary artists is in its sixth amazing year, which would alone be an astonishing feat, if it didn’t also frequently provide stellar entertainment.
Alongside Ancient Champion there is poetry from David Mortimer, Portland Jones and Ayan with more poets to be confirmed plus live music from Dave Monks; and a solo slot from John Rushton, with a select few Irish musical numbers sourced from musicians who attend the Erdington Traditional Sessions.
