What quite a few of us here at OL love about Miki Berenyi… Hmmm where to begin? Well, records with her band Lush, like nobody made. It’s true. Her stories, forthright and often funny accounts of fame, and what it does to other people too. That she ran her own fanzine and loves words. That’s plenty to be going along with.
April sees the North American release of Miki’s acclaimed autobiography, Fingers Crossed: How Music Saved Me From Success, from Mango Publishing as well as the global release of the audiobook via Bonnier Books.
Fingers Crossed was published in the UK in 2022, and while on a book tour that passed through Wolverhampton, we managed to get together one of our favourite ever features together with Miki... Read it here:
