Christian Present

L'être est curieux au gré des ses différents recueils déjà sortie et à ses collaboration dans le milieu de l’art Pictural, et musical « Je fouille mille corps ;
Mille ruelles ;
Sous les mille réverbères
De ma tendre et pleine lune »

Extrait de Saillies - 2014

Christian Present a Poet, lyricist and Podcaster from the caribbean island of Martinique, is in quest for the self in his work.

Plagued by non-human nature’s forces lying dormant in the fustiest lands of our being which for some reason or by a non-controlled boredom
harvest the ripe fruit of failing thought,
on the double-edge of life.

His poems originates from the exploration of the self.
His matrix is the human being,
in all his heroic and sometimes despicable magnificence, lying close to the Other,
This Other, pointed at, who sometimes bring us back to our primitive and hated self
His exploring nature is shown throughout his published anthology and his collaboration in the pictural and musical field.

“Je fouille milles corps;
Milles ruelles;
Sous les réverbères
De ma tendre et pleine lune.”
Saillies - anthology - 2014

HELP OUTSIDELEFT

Outsideleft exists on a precarious no budget budget. We are interested in hearing from deep and deeper pocket types willing to underwrite our cultural vulture activity. We're not so interested in plastering your product all over our stories, but something more subtle and dignified for all parties concerned. Contact us and let's talk. [HELP OUTSIDELEFT]

WRITE FOR OUTSIDELEFT

If Outsideleft had arms they would always be wide open and welcoming to new writers and new ideas. If you've got something to say, something a small dank corner of the world needs to know about, a poem to publish, a book review, a short story, if you love music or the arts or anything else, write something about it and send it along. Of course we don't have anything as conformist as a budget here. But we'd love to see what you can do. Write for Outsideleft, do. [SUBMISSIONS FORM HERE]
